About

For as long as I can remember, I have loved art and design. Creating exciting spaces started for me as a child with my creative imagination. I spent hours thinking of ways to redo my grandmother’s house (She had lilac walls with pink and black wall tile in her bathroom and a yellow shower curtain). From that humble beginning, I studied Interior design at the University of Delaware. I then worked for several retail stores before opening my own design business in Wilmington, Delaware.

Over the last 25 years, I have done a wide range of projects and renovations. Some of my projects have been as simple as helping a client select the right paint color. Other projects have been more involved such as bathroom or kitchen remodels. A big focus of many of my projects has been fabrics and window treatments. My mother taught me to sew and I mostly made things for myself. It wasn’t until the economy changed that I started to utilize this skill in my business. I expanded from just creating drapery designs and pillows into fabricating them.

When I moved from Delaware to Amherst, Ohio in 2016, fabricating window treatments, pillows and accessories has become a large part of my new business. I love the creative process of consulting with clients on a space and designing a custom space that works with their needs and is unique to them. It can be as simple as paint colors or a window treatment. Whatever the project, people deserve beautiful spaces to live and work. I want to help create them!
